The people are very approachable. Often times I ask advice from the manager and supervisor I get to share the shuttle with and they would shower tips in socializing, most especially with the executives and how to make my stay worthwhile in the company

The company culture is excellent and transcends through all levels of the organization and business units (BUs) of the AboitizPower group. There is a great teamwork and socialization amongst colleagues within the BU and reaching out to them is not quite difficult. Furthermore, there are a lot of activities that allow engagement between TMs and TLs among various BUs. Another great thing within our team is that we have a good relationship with our TLs and even execs.

During office hours, I sense a feeling of satisfaction and enjoyment from the employees around me because I see that they are performing their jobs to the best of their abilities. Respect and teamwork are highly valued here in AboitizPower because our supervisors and senior employees are very willing to help us in our tasks by explaining and sharing their knowledge gained through experience. Also, in the shuttle service, I meet other employees and feel happy because they acknowledge me as one of their colleagues and not just another cadet engineer. I believe it is important for new cadets to feel this way to truly improve in our roles. People here are friendly and approachable, and I don't feel intimidated approaching even the supervisors for advice because they also want to offer guidance.
