Working Hours at AboitizPower

We start at 8 am and end 5:30 pm. Some team members (TMs) can have their work done at home twice a week.

I work with the schedule 7AM to 4:30PM from Monday to Friday. I witness that the company is flexible in terms of work hours as there are cases of overtime and adjustments which are allowed. There is also the current system, or the lack thereof, of having no time-in and time-out biometrics which I also observed that everyone is practicing integrity.

I work 5 days a week and 9.5 hours each day.

I work from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM but I usually arrive here in TVI around 7:20 AM and I am satisfied with my working hours since I am used to waking up early and got no problems with my current shift.

My schedule is from 8 am - 5:30 pm with a 1-hour lunch break. I consider the company to be flexible since they allow us to take leaves and work from home when the set-up of the discussion permits.

We have a 48-hour week scheme in a 5-day compressed work week schedule. Our schedule within our team, considering we operate 24 hours daily, allows flexibility since we are allowed to manage it amongst the TMs discretion but is still compliant within the company policy and under the DOLE provisions. Additionally, the company has a hybrid work set-up allowing work-from-home arrangements (although, the operations team from which I belong to cannot enjoy this benefit).

My work hour ranges from 8 am to 5 30 pm, however since I live around 45min to 1 hour away from the plant, I commute daily so that's an added time away from home. However, I have started to adjust to this and make us of the commute time for personal improvement such as listening to podcast and reading books so it does not feel as tiring anymore. During our work hours, aside from the lectures and trainings and also the evaluations set by our supervisors we are free to learn at our own pace because we have our laptops and resources provided by TSI for our self paced learning. So I am happy about the flexibility of my work hour during the 8 to 5 30 work hours, because I can schedule and decide how I will spend the time improving on my own.
