What's your job about?

I'm a CSA-Roving Teller who is responsible for the deposit pick-up/ payroll cash delivery services/ branches services/ transact bank's business in BSP and local banks/ offsite ATM terminals cash loading/ unloading activities.

What's your background?

I don't have a degree in any banking related courses but I'm a graduate of BSEd-Mathematics and I’m a licensed professional teacher. I acquired two scholarships during my college days that really helped me continue my studies. I'm also a part-time NSTP college instructor while I'm still studying which aims to empower and educate young minds through community extension programs.

What's the coolest thing about your job?

The coolest thing about my job is to ride the armoured car. It's like a bucket list-ish to finally experience what I'm curious about every time I saw someone doing it.

What are the limitations of your job?

It's a routine type of job. All transactions and ways are just the same every day, like watching paint dry. Above all, there are certain functions that we cannot perform, just like doing the override of the transactions, approvals and such.

3 pieces of advice for yourself when you were a student...

  • It's painful. Learning is a painful process so deal with it. Be glad for the first-hand pain, it will take you somewhere but don't forget to guard your heart.
  • Say "Yes" all the time. You don't want to miss the opportunity and the things you're capable of.
  • Have fun. If you want to stay up late at your friends' house purposely doing your research but end up talking, then do it. You're going to miss that day soon. Enjoy every bit.
