The BIR became a reestablished government bureau in 1947 through Executive Order No. 94. The bureau’s primary responsibilities involve the collection of taxes and enforcement of taxation laws.

Your responsibilities

  • Assists in the discharge of cash management activities.
  • Collects payments from employees and clients and prepares daily Collection Reports.
  • Releases and issues check to employees, suppliers and creditors, and prepares daily Disbursement Reports.
  • Facilitates routing of checks to signatories for all transactions.
  • Records and maintains cash and check registry books.
