Network Operations Engineer I

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering ECE or related field of study with a network engineering focus
• Basic understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware
• Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices including routers, switches, and controllers
• Knowledge of networking and familiarity with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Documentation skills
• Experience in the related field is a plus
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Knowledgeable in DWDM Technology.
• Knowledgeable in MPLS Technology.
• Knowledge in LAN, WAN, and MAN topology.
• Knowledgeable in routing and switching concepts
• Knowledgeable in network infrastructure
• Basic understanding of network protocols.
• Knowledge of Fiber Optic Network Architecture
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record

Job Descriptions:

OPERATIONAL

• Responsible for network integration and acceptance.
• Performs industry-standard throughput testing.
• Handles circuit activation and provides appropriate configurations of CPE prior to deployment.
• Monitor mate line application for deployment and provide support to ensure continuity and availability of all network services.
• Network and client troubleshooting and fault analysis.

INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

• Provide service reports on every network activity and event.
• Identifies all active network elements.

FINANCIAL and PHYSICAL RESOURCES

• Monitor all inventory of incoming and outgoing equipment.
• Provide a list of equipment and materials per circuit activation.
• Database management on node inventory and corporate circuits nationwide

CAREER DEVELOPMENT

• Keep up-to-date with the latest relevant technology, relevant standards, policies, and directives.
