About DMCI Homes

D.M. Consunji, Incorporated (DMCI) was founded on December 24, 1954, in a small room in Pandacan, Manila, with the vision of building a generation of Filipinos.

DMCI began by constructing chicken houses for the Bureau of Animal Industry. From this, DMCI earned a reputation for on-time delivery and quality work. Since then, major projects such as the Tacloban Coca-Cola Plant and the Bacnotan Cement Plant were awarded to the company.

Your role

  • Manage the delivery of the overall project construction/design requirements during the construction phase to the required quality standards requirements of the project
  • Take the responsibility for coordinating the construction/design-related matters and solutions among various project stakeholders in relation to all design approvals, reviews, and coordination throughout the construction period
  • Support the project team to review and coordinate to ensure all design changes and solutions are implemented and coordinated into the project design documentation
  • Manage the review of key milestone deliverables for completion in relation to the quality of construction/ design, implementation, and coordination of design changes
  • Review and recommend project design changes
  • Assess project feasibility by analyzing technology, resources needed, and market demand
  • Review and recommend approval of contracts or cost estimates
  • Review and manage all construction/design-related queries to arrive at an amicable resolution
  • Review and ensure all construction plans are optimally designed

Training & development

Company growth - in terms of sales and projects - requires solid leadership and personnel readiness. With this perspective, DMCI Homes started implementing in October 2010 a Management Development Program (MDP), a succession strategy.

The MDP undergoes constant evolution as lessons are learned along the way. Its dynamism is one of its success factors. The other such factors include solid support from the company's management (the company President treats it as a pet project), adequate budget (Php26 M excluding salaries for this year alone), curriculum structure (developed by the company's pillars who have - to borrow a tired cliche - been there done that), thorough monitoring (which is what they do, in coordination with buddies and other partners), experiential coaching given by seasoned company officials, and the malleability of young minds, among others.

Benefits

Aside from achieving work stability in a leading Construction Company, DMCI has a lot more in store for you! The Company offers above-average salaries across the Industry. More so, it provides rewarding employee benefits. Implements a standardized Performance Management System (PMS) for possible compensation adjustment based on how well you perform your job.

Career Progression

The company promotes career advancement through Performance Management System (PMS). This method gives employees the opportunity to be evaluated based on their performance. DMCI also aims to bridge the competency gap that hinders employees to attain advancement in their careers through a different approach. This program will enable employees to have a clear career path and eventually go up the ladder of success.

Work-life balance

DMCI regards its employees as the greatest asset of the Company. Thus, it builds avenues for employees to have a work-life balance. Through various activities such as training and special events. Though they are working in a diverse environment, they are united through Company's lead.

Company culture

  • They choose industries that allow them to leverage their engineering and management expertise and construction resources while promoting development.
  • They engage and retain their employees by investing in skills development and career opportunities.
  • They pursue businesses with an unrealized value that could be unlocked through innovative engineering and management.
  • They manage their businesses in accordance with relevant government standards on environment, safety, quality, and corporate governance practices.
