7:00 AM

It’s a new day! I woke up and ate a cream cheese sandwich for breakfast.

8:00 AM

Cleaned my room and did morning yoga! I make it a point to have at least some exercise at the start of my day so that I feel energized throughout it.

9:30 AM

Took a quick shower to start the day fresh!

10:00 AM

Checked in and went through my emails. I work in the global CRM team, so the emails I usually get are responses from questions I sent to team members the previous evening. From these, I take down any action points needed from my side and make a to-do list for the day.

11:00 AM

Time for a break to eat lunch with my family!

11:30 AM

Went back to work! Most of my collaborations and meetings with the global team happen in the late afternoon so I focus on my individual tasks until then. Today, I’m setting up an email marketing automation campaign to re-engage our newsletter subscribers across various markets! This entails creating templates and the flow of emails to be sent within the campaign.

Manila team huddle time! For the past few weeks, a lot of teams have presented an overview of what they do. I find this very interesting, especially since Emma is such a big company with many moving parts! They also discuss important announcements here.

2:30 PM

I continue with my tasks and start thinking of discussion points or follow-up questions I have for my team members in Frankfurt for the day. I’ve also put my campaigns into the testing mode to make sure that the automation works as expected!

3:30 PM

Hopped in a meeting about Emma’s Black Friday campaign plans! They shared timelines to keep in mind as well as the various channels we’ll be using to promote the campaign.

On other days, the CRM team would usually have check-ins with other Engagement Marketing subteams at this time! These are meant for us to share how we are doing, what we are prioritizing for the day, and what kind of support we need from the team. It’s a great way of staying updated with other sub-teams' projects and progress, as well as with my own team!

4:00 PM

The second break of the day! I use this time to check my social media, catch up with friends and do my extracurricular activities. I also prepare a snack when I feel like eating!

4:30 PM

Back to work until the early evening. Here’s a photo of me in my work from home set-up!

6:30 PM

If I come up with other discussion points to raise with the team, I block off the last few minutes of my working hours to write this down and send an email or a message!

7:00 PM

A long day of work is over! After checking out, I usually eat dinner and do either one of the following things: pull up YouTube or Netflix (I'm currently watching Dawson’s Creek), study and work on some assignments from school, or do some of my tasks in my college organization. I’m an officer in my organization too, so I often use this time to have meetings with my co-officers to discuss our projects or collaborations!

9:30 PM

I freshened up and did my skincare routine as it is almost my bedtime! I continue to work on some school or organization-related tasks (if there’s any left).

10:30 PM

Time to sleep! I try my best to sleep by 10:30 PM every night so that I can wake up feeling well-rested and ready for the next working day.
