Content Writing Internship (Apr 2023)

Position Description

FailFighters is seeking a skilled and creative Content Writer to join their team, who will be responsible for:

• Conducting interviews with experts and transforming the interviews into optimized blog posts for their website.
• The ideal candidate must have excellent research and writing skills, be able to write clear, concise, and engaging content, and be passionate about writing.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting interviews, researching information, writing and transcribing articles, collaborating with the team, publishing articles, and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
• Conduct interviews with subject matter experts and industry leaders on various topics.
• Research and analyze information from multiple sources to ensure the accuracy and credibility of the content.
• Write clear, concise, and engaging blog posts that are optimized for search engines and aligned with their brand voice and style.
• Transcribe interviews into written articles, ensuring all content is error-free, properly formatted, and adheres to their editorial standards.
• Publish articles on their website using WordPress, including uploading images and other media content.
• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm new content ideas, develop editorial calendars, and execute content strategies that align with their business goals.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content writing and SEO to continuously improve the quality and relevance of their content.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a content writer, with a strong portfolio of published articles.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to conduct interviews and extract key insights from subject matter experts.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization.
• Proficiency in WordPress and other content management systems.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Must spend one hour monday and one hour friday checking in with your direct supervisor.
