GMA Network, Inc. engages in socio-civic initiatives through GMA Kapuso Foundation. Through partnership with trusted institutions, GMA Kapuso Foundation extends the reach of the company's community service. In addition to Kapuso Foundation, internally, our Corporate Affairs and Communications Department is also involved in various CSR efforts. In cooperation with different government and non-government institutions, GMA has provided free TV and radio airtime to disseminate relevant information, especially recently to combat the pandemic.

The network also works with Kapwa Ko Mahal Ko to be able to help more people, with programs such as Batang Kapwa (Batang K) Program and Gamot Para Sa Kapwa which benefitted 8,243 individuals nationwide in 2020. Moreover, our Regional TV Department has implemented programs, such as the Kapuso Barangayan on Wheels, to extend aid in regional areas.

GMA Network Inc. is also the first media and entertainment company in the Philippines to sign with the United Nations Global Compact, a voluntary initiative based on commitments to implement universal sustainability principles and to take steps to support UN goals.

Recruitment Process

A. Application

  • Applications are centralized on our website (GMA Careers) where you can apply for a specific active vacancy of the company.
  • Received applications are then reviewed by the recruitment team. Pre-screened applicants will be required to send a copy of their CV via the company's recruitment email.
  • CVs are endorsed to managers of the requisitioning team for screening, and selected applicants are endorsed to recruitment team for invitation for interview and/or exam.

B. Exam Administration & Interview

  • The company personally administers customized aptitude tests (general knowledge, technical, and creative), personality tests, essays, and/or practical exams for all applicants.
  • Interviews are done either face-to-face, online or over the phone. Usually, managers check the exam results before they select applicants for interview.

C. Assessment of candidates

  • After interviews and/or upon receipt of exam results, the manager of requisitioning team will then shortlist candidates who are fit for the position. There may be additional interviews for some positions.
  • The manager then endorses their final candidate to the recruitment team for hiring process.

Selection criteria:

  • Having specific knowledge and skills in the role they are applying for is an advantage for successful candidates. Openness to learn is also a good factor to consider, especially for those who have yet to gain professional working experience.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
