I am one of the few people who have experienced promotion/career growth, and I can say that I am really grateful. It was also challenging to move up ranks, But you don't want to stay in your position forever, we need to grow.
Day to day is different, challenging, there are times I am not sure what to do in one task or how to resolve such issue. I am still coping, but luckily I have my team to support me.
I have a good manager, she's very bright and thoughtful. She wants to know if you are okay with your tasks or if I have any issues and she wants to help. She wants to know me more, wanted to get to know me even if not work related.
Definitely a process. When I was hired, it was a step by step procedure. There are things to consider and they will not hire a people for their sake. they still think of the applicant situation.
Analyst training was really helpful and gave us also a chance to have an account where we can access anytime to learn more. Our courses also a big part I guess to have a new knowledge in IT, HR, etc.
As of now, I can say that our work hours are flexible, we are not that strict as long us we are done with our task and have completed the working hours
