Laurence Miergas

Working at ING fueled my passion to wholeheartedly pursue all my interests.

8.30 AM

Even though my shift starts at noon, I drive my mom to her office which is conveniently located near the Bonifacio Global City office of ING.

.

9.00 AM

Got a spontaneous invite from my co-graduate trainees (GT) and climbed for an hour. Luckily, I usually have gym clothes with me to kill time before my shift starts 😅

.

10.30 AM

With more than 1 hour left, I tried to burn more calories and build on some skills that I’m trying to obtain (P.S. training for calisthenics) (P.P.S. still stuck in the basics but getting stronger every 💪)

.

12.00 PM

Time to work! To start my day, I check my e-mails, meetings for the day, and recall tasks I need to accomplish for the day, and write them down in my notebook for easier tracking. I also got water and coffee which are unlimited in the office pantry! 😋

.

4.00 PM

Joined an event held in the pantry which was filled with interesting talks, games (with a generous number of prizes such as loot bags filled with chocolate, and Starbucks GCs), and of course, FREE FOOD!

.

8.00 PM

Around this time, the office noise starts to die down as people begin to go home. Grabbed a quick shot of the peaceful end of a very eventful day. After taking this shot, I sat down, finished some admin work, and caught up with my colleagues before finally leaving the office.

.

9.15 PM

To cap off the workday, my co-GTs and I gather whoever is available and have dinner together to catch up and share some interesting tea… which is served by the restaurant 😉

.

10.00 PM

We also arrange weekly basketball games and invite whoever is down to play to release some stress that builds up over a week of work 🥵
