Job Description
As an M&A Corporate Development Specialist here at Intelligent Technical Solutions, your primary responsibility will be conducting cold calls to set up first-time appointments with Managed Service Provider (MSP) owners. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in the field of M&A, develop strong communication and negotiation skills, and contribute to our company's growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Cold Calling: Initiate outbound calls to MSP owners, introducing our company's M&A services and value proposition. Effectively communicate the benefits of exploring M&A opportunities to pique their interest.
- Lead Generation: Research and identify potential targets within the MSP industry using various sources, such as online directories, industry publications, and databases. Gather relevant information about target companies to personalize outreach efforts.
- Appointment Setting: Engage in persuasive conversations with MSP owners to secure first-time appointments for our M&A team. Clearly articulate the purpose of the meeting, the potential benefits of exploring M&A, and the value our company brings to the table.
- Relationship Building: Establish rapport and maintain a professional and positive demeanour during conversations. Act as a representative of our company, fostering a positive image and leaving a lasting impression with potential clients.
- Database Management: Accurately record and update prospect information, call outcomes, and appointment details in our customer relationship management (CRM) system. Ensure data integrity and maintain confidentiality.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the M&A team to share insights and feedback on call outcomes, prospect responses, and industry trends. Contribute to refining outreach strategies and improving the overall effectiveness of the cold-calling process.
- Professional Development: Actively seek opportunities to enhance your knowledge of the MSP industry, M&A processes, and effective cold-calling techniques. Take part in training sessions and educational resources provided by the company.
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of M&A concepts is a plus.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a confident and persuasive phone presence.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust over the phone.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a tenacious approach to achieving targets.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative mindset.
- Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in using productivity tools (e.g., MS Office suite).
- Professional and ethical conduct, ensuring confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
Requirements
- A home office set up that meets the following:
- A working computer with a minimum of 8 GB RAM, i5 Windows10 or macOS Big Sur.
- Stable internet connection with at least 5mbps download and upload.
- HD webcam
- A quality headset with noise cancellation feature for meetings.
- A mobile phone that can install the Microsoft Authentication app.
- A very strong cultural fit the ITS way (Our core values will be discussed during the interview)
- Excellent command of the English language both spoken and written
- Able to work full time 40 hours a week - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Pacific Standard Time (PST) from Monday to Friday.
- Able to pass our online behaviour and cognitive assessments.
- Able to provide NBI Clearance (for PH applicants).
Compensation
The pay rate starts at $4/hour and varies by experience and location.
