Everyone is more than willing to lend a helping hand and an attentive ear. We take turns sharing our ideas, offering creative solutions, and making jokes here and there.

6.30 AM

Good morning, world! I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to start the day, thanks to the cheerful quacking of my trusty duck alarms. After a quick shower and a hearty breakfast, I hit the road with my favorite artists Taylor Swift, Blackpink, and Carly Rae Jepsen, who kept me company throughout the entire ride.

As soon as I arrived at the office, my workmates-turned-galpals, Dani and Rita, greeted me with their very own version of Vietnamese coffee – my favorite! Moments like these make me grateful for people like them who make even the busiest days a little bit sweeter.

I start my workday by sifting through my emails and work chats. I typically take an hour to address HR-related concerns, support the Mental Health team, and of course, have quick kwentuhan sessions.

I also use this time to reassess my priorities and allocate more time for the tasks that need it. By doing so, I optimize my workflow and maximize my productivity throughout the day.

Once I finish sweeping, I dive into my favorite part of the day – conducting interviews with mental health professionals from different fields, including psychiatrists, psychologists, guidance counselors, and psychometricians. Listening to their stories is truly inspiring, especially as an aspiring psychologist. Hearing about the positive impacts they've made in people's lives motivates me to stay committed to my own dreams and aspirations.

Lunchtime! One of the perks of working in Poblacion is discovering hidden gems during lunch breaks, and Coffee Tonya is certainly one of them. My work bestie Joey and I paid a visit today to restock on beans and were pleasantly surprised to receive free drinks from the friendly baristas. Definitely a must-go-to place when in Pobla!

After a quick adventure with Joey, I switch back to focus mode and continue working on my Comparables Analysis. It’s just like a Competitor Analysis except we see other companies as allies in our goal to improve mental healthcare nationwide.

This project is a personal favorite for several reasons. Firstly, I learn more about the mental health landscape, including new services and therapy methods. Secondly, I get to analyze and generate insights on how we can improve our current services to better serve our clients. It's fulfilling to work on something that not only broadens my own understanding but also has the potential to positively impact the lives of others.

After doing my individual tasks, I attend an alignment with our Mental Health Team Manager, Raph, and the Cluster Leads for Teleconsultation Operations and Program Development. During these meetings, we share updates on our projects, escalate any issues, and receive feedback for improvements.

One of the things I love about these meetings is the open and supportive atmosphere. Everyone is more than willing to lend a helping hand and an attentive ear. We take turns sharing our ideas, offering creative solutions, and making jokes here and there. It may sound cheesy, but it's true – work doesn't feel like work when you're surrounded by colleagues who you can also call your friends.

Once the clock strikes five, I say goodbye to the team and head straight home to my cat, Merlot. I happily spend the rest of my night with Merlot and myself, where I do my favorite hobbies like exercising or cleaning. It's the perfect way to unwind after a long day and recharge for tomorrow.

Before dozing off, I made sure to have a quick reflection session about life, work, or anything under the sun (or should I say moon?). I find it helpful to take a few moments to check in with myself and my thoughts before I fall asleep. After my reflection session, I usually wind down by either watching K-pop music videos or watching some silly Tiktok videos.
