Your responsibilities

• Capture Shipping Instructions data, and conduct coding and formatting of B/Ls from various regional offices.
• Conduct BL freighting and amendments in BL capturing modules.
• Capture shipment events and static allocations in online scheduling systems.
• Capture equipment events for operations modules.
• Comply with data integrity and security policies.
• Participate in the standardization and centralization of a global BL capturing process.
• Assist in seeking opportunities for automation for simpler shipping data capturing processes.
• Create synergy for process standardization and simplification by utilizing shared rule guidelines across various regional offices.
• Provide feedback on system functionality and performance for continuous system improvements.

About you

• Possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in any field
• At least one (1) year of experience obtained from Shipping/Logistics industry is an advantage but not required
• Demonstrate high attention to detail, and possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understand and execute instructions, procedures, and guidelines.
• Ability to express him/herself clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Dedicated to completing tasks under deadlines and with minimal supervision.
• Confidence to seek assistance where required.
• Willing to render extra work hours when necessary, including holidays and weekends.
• Familiarity with general shipping terms is an advantage.
• Ability to create MS Excel worksheets, pivot tables, and simple calculations.
• Candidates must be willing to render overtime on weekends/holidays.
• Candidates must be willing to be on a rotational shifting schedule.
• Candidate should be capable to work from home - should have own PC (Windows 7, Windows 10, MAC OS X 10.15 Catalina) with webcam and access to the internet with at least 20MBPS speed and would be willing to work in the office based on business need.
