Your role

The Payroll Specialist is primarily responsible for performing and conducting procedures in accordance with the quality standards of the Firm and of the profession.

  • Understand payroll, tax, and related laws sufficiently to perform the job.
  • Understand fully the client’s payroll policies.
  • Execute the procedures in the work program assigned to him/her by the engaged Senior Payroll Specialist and/or Assistant Manager/Manager – Payroll.
  • Upon instruction/approval by the Assistant Manager/Manager – Payroll, communicate with the client with regard to payroll instructions, issues, etc.
  • Make effective use of job-related tools (e.g. MCCAPS, Pay SQL, Corona/Dorado, e-Pay slip, Nexus, Gmail, etc.)
  • Produce deliverables that are 100% correct at all times.
  • Submit deliverables within set deadlines.
  • Assume new or different work assignments and schedules willingly. Modify work methods to meet changing needs of the team or client, without compromising ethical standards.
  • Seek and recommend efficient and effective ways to accomplish objectives better.

About you

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or Finance.
  • Well-developed communication (oral and written).
  • Independent skills and positive work attitude.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is needed.
