5:00 AM

I wake up early since my clients are mainly US West coast clients and my shift starts at 6:00 - 7:00 am. Starting the day with two glasses of water to boost my energy. I then exercise for 30 to 45 minutes as a wake-up charge.

5:45 AM

My mom, an early riser like me, prepared a hearty breakfast. Our family, including our two adorable dogs, enjoyed the meal together. This is something to be thankful for early in the day.

6:00 AM

Bath time. Let’s get ready for work!

6:45 AM

I clocked in on our Timekeeping System (TSKS) and started my work with the “Open Sesame Bot”. This bot is one of the digital tools that PwC AC Manila made available for us. It allows me to set up which files/sites I would regularly want to open when I start my day. Voila! With just a click of a button, all the files/sites I need would open instantly!

I checked my calendar to see if there are any scheduled meetings for the day that I need to prepare for. Afterward, I opened my Google Chat to check if there are messages that I haven’t responded to yet.

Then, I read all the new emails, taking note of all action items needed from my end.

Quality is important. Being a Senior Analyst in my team, one of my key responsibilities is to review the work of my teammates before we deliver it to our clients. At around this time, I check our team’s review log sheet and assess how many tasks I need to review for the day.

9:00 AM

Usually at this time, some of the work performed by my teammates comes in for my review. Let’s get down to business!

9:45 AM

Our daily huddles are a source of fun and relaxation for the team. We set this time to talk about our workload, our challenges, and our wins. This way, we not only assess our work and capacity but we also support one another. We become a source of encouragement for one another to finish the day strong.

10:00 AM

Gotta do my reviews! I also checked in with my teammates and responded to their questions regarding their tasks.

12:00 PM

Lunch with my brother because we’re the only ones left at home during the weekdays. I block and prioritize mealtime to power me through the day.

1:00 PM

Let’s get back to work! I continue on with the reviews for the day. I have a few coaching sessions where I guide my teammates on their tasks. Glad to have the opportunity to be a ‘big brother’ to the team! I know that supporting one another gets us through difficult tasks.

3:00 PM

Time to recharge! I play with my dog, Bailey, in the afternoon. It makes me happy to see her enjoy running around.

3:15 PM

I make sure to follow-up on all the remaining tasks for review. Around 4:00 PM, I clock out. Sometimes, I opt to work some more depending on the need for the day. If my teammates need my support, I’d be happy to assist them.

6:00 PM

At this time, I should already be talking to the real boss. By that, I mean mi amore

7:00 PM

“A family who eats together stays together.” I feel fortunate that we are a close-knit family and our dinners are usually spent talking about how our day went. My dad will always encourage me and say “You can do it. Just do your best. (Kaya mo yan. Pagbutihan mo lang)”.

8:00 PM

I enjoy playing games or watching Netflix at this hour. The choice of activity depends on my mood. But most of the time, I like talking with my partner.

Rest up! It’s time to sleep and prepare for another day tomorrow.
