Their mission aimed to enrich communities by providing a platform for self-sufficiency. They strived to ensure access to high-quality products at affordable, market-driven prices, all while supporting individuals in achieving decent livelihoods.

During the initial stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, Kate, the wife of one of the founders, Brian Cu, embarked on selling fruits and vegetables within her community. Through aggregating local orders, Kate efficiently procured fresh produce in bulk, subsequently offering these goods at reduced prices.

Kate's initiative was part of a larger movement. Throughout the country, numerous community sellers emerged, catering to the needs of their neighborhoods. Witnessing this inspiring collective effort, the SariSuki team uncovered that such practices constituted a legitimate business model, as observed in countries like China and Indonesia - known as Community Group Buying.
