As a Technician in the Materials Science Laboratory group of Western Digital, you will be part of a dynamic team that oversees ICA and FTIR analyses and provides characterization support. There will be plenty of opportunities to learn new techniques, interact closely with fellow technicians and management team and be part of a global workforce in accomplishing the sub-function team's goals assigned at Western Digital.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct ICA/FTIR analysis and prepare characterization reports
• Develop techniques necessary to solve characterization issues or problems and/or improve the team's processes
• Support characterization activities for product and process development and improvement
• Applies knowledge/skills to complete given tasks as well provide innovative solutions
• Collaborate with fellow technicians, engineers, and management team
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• College level within a technical degree or any technical vocational course
• Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Prior experience in operating any analytical tools
• Chemical Technician License
