The Story of SEAOIL Philippines Inc.

SEAOIL Group of Companies was founded in 1978 by Mr. Francis C. Yu and his wife, Josefina. In 1987, it partnered with Paramins to develop the most advanced lubricants in the Philippine market. In 1997, it became the first independent company to open a gasoline service station.

By 2005, it had opened its 100th station. It also gained recognition as Outstanding Retailer of Petroleum Product for five consecutive years by the Consumers Union of the Philippines (2004-2008). In 2008, it was the first to develop E85 fuels (a blend of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline).

In 2009, it launched Extreme 97, the revolutionary gasoline product that offers extreme engine performance while being affordable and environment-friendly compared to other high-octane gasoline products.

In 2018, SEAOIL celebrated its 40th Anniversary and opened its 400th station. In 2019, the company opened its biggest fuel bulk terminal to date in Zamboanga del Norte. In 2020, SEAOIL opened its 500th station, and today, SEAOIL has become the largest independent fuel company in the Philippines.

Recruitment Process

You can focus on the jobs you want by applying the filter based on location, department, or work type (contractual, full-time, or on-the-job trainee). Each position has an Apply button on the side that leads you to the job description, requirements, and the actual button to submit your application and attach your CV.

You need to read carefully the information as the requirements are different for each position. The internship or on-the-job trainee position for Retail and Technology Engineering, for example, has a work-from-home setting from 8 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Therefore,  this job position requires students to have a personal computer and internet access.

If students cannot be available due to classes, only the actual work hours will be logged. It is also recommended to identify your availability prior to engagement. Students also need to have a Memorandum of Agreement and a letter of endorsement from their school.

The contractual jobs are usually based on the project length which can last from 6 months to 2 years.  For contractual and full-time positions, the applicants who are invited for HR screening will need to accomplish HR documents, and conduct online and/or technical exams, essay exams, and personality tests before proceeding to the HR interview.

The applicants who pass the interview will then need to submit soft copies of pre-employment requirements that may include a Transcript, a Diploma, and NBI clearance. If hired, the candidates are required to submit the hard copies of pre-employment requirements and pass the background check and medical exam before onboarding.

The average salary for a Technician in this company is reported around PHP9,700 per month, while a Junior Chemist can earn about PHP13,000.
