Monetary compensation is paid at predetermined times each year with an emphasis on the linkage with short-term performance. The amount of the bonus fluctuates within a range of 0% to 200% of the standard payment amount depending on the degree of attainment of the consolidated results for the fiscal year under review (operating income, ROE) and the targets set for each division.

The Territorial Career Development Program (TCDP) is designed to enhance the performance, motivation, and professional maturity of potential future leaders. The participants travel to different TDK sites within their region (i.e. Asia, Europe, Americas, and Greater China) and have the opportunity to create a strong bond and partnership with TDK members from different sites, cultures, and experiences. This program aims to deepen the understanding of the basic methods and principles used in management, develop leadership skills, increase employee engagement, and generally improve our management competencies.
