Your role

• Demonstrate expertise in Philippines Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and related financial reporting matters as well as expertise in relevant SEC, BIR, BSP, and IC regulations and compliance/reportorial requirements;
• Demonstrate a thorough practical knowledge of current auditing/review techniques;
• Identify key areas of risk within the client’s businesses and define the appropriate audit/review approaches;
• Complete audit/review process, evaluate and document higher-risk areas to enhance requisite technical and business skills;
• Engage clients and provide sound and authoritative advice and professionalism throughout client engagements;
• Proactively build a strong and customer-centric relationship with client personnel, demonstrate flexibility and resourcefulness in handling client’s problems or special areas of concern;
• Collaborate with other professionals within Deloitte such as teams from Tax, IT, etc.

Training & development

Compensation & benefits

• Prosple salary estimate is Php 19,900 to 34,000 per month

About you

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
• Preferably with experience in external (preferred) or internal audit experience, preferably in the banking or insurance industry.
• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant.
• Extensive experience in auditing life insurance companies/banking sector in the Philippines
• Exposure in PFRS 9, Financial Instruments, PFRS 4 / 17 - Insurance Contracts
• Understands the basic Insurance underwriting business process
• Strong analytical skills;
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Fresh Accountancy graduates are welcome to apply.
