Your role

The Finance Specialist shall perform a variety of Finance responsibilities including but not limited to basic banking transactions, accounting, and insurance. Analyzing data is one of the key tasks of this position.

The duties and responsibilities listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed.  This is not limited to other duties, responsibilities, or projects that may be assigned.

Data analysis and transaction execution with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness in all Finance responsibilities are required.

1. Supplier Accounting
   • Pay Foreign Suppliers/Principals on time based on payment terms
   • Provide accurate & timely Foreign Supplier Accounting reports for various brands.
   • Adhere to timely entry or set-up in AX - to prevent reconciling items (all transactions done manually should be set up in AX as well)
     • AX Invoicing
     • AX Set-up up credit claims, freight, bank charges, etc.
     • AX set-up up all payments to foreign suppliers
     • AX vendor settles open transactions
   • Submit Debit Note within 3 days from the date of request
   • Analyze and monitor all claims and credit notes weekly and monthly
2. Banking Transactions
   • Analyze the flow of the funds to be able to prepare necessary bank forms needed for the transaction (not limited to telegraphic transfer only) with very minimal supervision (i.e. deposit, withdrawal, and fund transfers).
   • Accustomed to bank forms for opening, closing, updating, and reactivating accounts. 
   • Foreign Exchange
     • Analyze the trend of the foreign exchange market
     • Provide assistance on foreign currency purchases
3. Property Insurance
   • Collate, review and analyze data for insurance policies to ensure appropriate policy coverage.
   • Manage to prepare payment for insurance claims
   • Manage to renew insurance policies
